Paid Media Ads are a BIG (and important) investment! It's super important that you:
- Already have a viable profitable business. Paid ads cannot fix broken marketing strategies. Organic marketing needs to be the fire, paid ads are then the gas you pour on that fire to blow that mother up. BUT no fire to begin with? Now you are pouring all that gas (all that money) onto chunks of wood for nothing.
- Find the right freelancer or agency for YOUR biz. Do NOT be swayed by big promises. Do not commit to paying more monthly than you can afford to burn. Talk to at least 3 experts. Ask questions. Give them some time to make your ads work (especially if you were starting with no fire - but don't be afraid to try someone new if your ads are not profitable).
- Do your part! Even with help - none of these experts can grow your business without your participation. If they offer calls/reports/check-ins, TAKE them! Review the data, make sure you understand it, ask what you could be doing better on your side (and act quickly on whatever they say). Partner with them, don't just leave the very precious ball in their court.
