Ok. So now that I've spent the last month drilling into the importance of STRATEGY. And if you've been following along closely enough, you'll know that I'm talking about strategy and tracking (analyzing your strategies to optimize them) in every aspect of your business (marketing strategies, finance strategies, inventory buying strategies, and so much more).
There are some things I want to make sure I share with you too. That are, perhaps even more important than strategy or tracking. I know. Wait a minute, what could be more important that the strategies behind your business?
Email marketing. Either you're already doing it or you know you should be. But WHAT is it exactly that you should be doing? Here's some straight forward tips on where I suggest starting (but remember taking action is better than not taking action, so start with what you can do and build upon it as you go)!
Is your e-commerce website optimized to help your customer find items in their size?? One of our most common requests is a shop by size dropdown menu (these are automated shopify collections with the rules set so that in each size collection, only items in stock in that particular size show up). I show you how to create these collections and add them to your menu too.
These are two things you can strategize around to increase revenue: increasing your conversion rate (by optimizing your website), and increasing your average cart total value (could play around with bundles, or adjusting your free shipping threshold, or upsell apps, as a few ideas).
BUT, if you aren't driving enough traffic, then your efforts won't be very fruitful for ya. So, first, let's figure out how much traffic you really need to hit your revenue goal.

Yes, it's a real thing! I know there are always a million possible ways to drive more traffic to your website, and increase revenue! And it's so easy to get distracted by new ideas (that are the latest and greatest, are working for so and so, and just seem to be the answer to all your problems). But then, you drop your latest marketing strategy to chase this new idea and at the end of the day, you keep doing this and never actually make any of the ideas you are currently working on, well - actually work!
